CoAmana Featured in UNDP’s Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation Initiative

We are excited to share that CoAmana was recently featured in UNDP’s Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) initiative report video, alongside other innovative pilot projects. This recognition highlights how our work is demonstrating the power of systems-based MLE practices to enable more adaptive, inclusive, and effective responses to complex challenges.

For CoAmana, this feature is more than visibility. It reflects the heart of our approach: building solutions with communities, not just for them. Our pilot projects, from Nigeria to Kenya, are shaped by the voices of the farmers and traders who use them every day. We have learned that meaningful impact only happens when market actors are actively engaged in shaping the systems that serve them.

That is why CoAmana has made regular market town halls and feedback sessions a cornerstone of our work. By listening closely to traders, farmers, and market leaders, we ensure our tools stay relevant, practical, and trusted. These insights do not only inform product improvements; they also strengthen our ability to connect partner networks, align incentives, and build the resilience of entire marketplaces.

The reflections shared in the UNDP video align closely with CoAmana’s medium-term strategy: to integrate feedback loops into every layer of our operations, to expand across more markets, and to continue bridging informal trade with inclusive finance and digital innovation.

We are proud of this recognition and grateful to UNDP for spotlighting the importance of adaptive learning in real-world systems change. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same—supporting one farmer, one trader, and one market at a time, while building towards stronger, more connected rural economies across Africa.
